Wonderful, Sara.
I actually like Lois' increased vulnerability to be discussed as a possibility. It would make Clark's caring, sharing, understanding, etc. so much more -- an interesting way to go.
I, too, can't wait for more.

Sara, you're posting!!! The start of this is every bit as wonderful as I hoped it'd be. I'm sorry that I can't say more right now, but I'm exhausted and brain-dead and too busy to think straight. Just know that I loved it and can't wait for more. Wendy

Nice start Sara! Wow, this Lois really is down on herself! Well that'll make Clark's job a little harder..and I'm looking forward to more! ~Liz
Lois: Can I go? Clark: No. Lois: Oh come on, Clark, why do we go through this? We both know I’m going to go. Clark: Then why do you ask? Lois: I’m trying to be nice.

Hi, Interesting start. MAF
Maria D. Ferdez. --- Don't like Luthor, unfinished, untitled and crossover story, and people that promises and don't deliver. I'm getting choosy with age. MAF

Sara An excellent start! Lois's introspection is extremely well-written. Clark definitely has a hard job ahead of him. I'm looking forward to seeing what happens next. Tricia

Yes! A Luthor story! I'm such a post-wedding story junkie. I can't wait to find out how the shattered pieces of Lois' world get put back together.

Interesting beginning.
This is a very messed-up Lois. At least she'll be happy to hear Clark's retraction of his 'love' for her. It will fit in much better with what she thinks she needs.
It's going to be tough to bring Lois out from behind her defensive walls now. After feeling so bad about 'not seeing' Lex for who he really was, she'll go positively catatonic if she finds out Clark is Superman.
Tank (who figures this story will walk a fine line in the angst department and hopes that it doesn't drown itself)

Yay, you posted, Sara! As one of her betas, I'll have to say you're all in for a great story! For goodness sake, it wasn’t a story written by some desperate author clinging to the hope of inspiring some warm and fuzzy feelings!

Hey everybody I'm going to be quick, since I'm on a time limit, but just wanted to pop in and go when I read this, Tank... a bit ironic, considering what's coming up <g> but I won't give anything else away... and I hope that what I've written makes sense I'm so glad everybody seems to like 'messed-up Lois'! <g> Once again, thanks a million to you all Sara
