Comments, please! What do you think the prank is going to be? Oh, and I think I forgot to mention this in the author's note, but credits for the title go to AngelFinally. I read it and couldn't stop ... so I had no choice but to use it. Thanks! Edit: Forgot to mention this- takes place mid to late season 2.

I can't wait for part two! You have the characters' voices down pat. And AngelFinally, that title is perfect. Joy, Lynn p.s., I hope you won't be pranking us by withholding part two until April 2nd.

Perfect title! Clark frowned in confusion. "Uh, what are you up to?" Lois' facade slipped for a moment as panic flashed through her eyes. Clark suddenly grew very nervous. "Lois? Lois, is everything all right?" So, she's plotting against him? Or working on her novel? She merely brushed it off. "Fine, Clark. Everything's fine. Geez, why has everyone been so darn curious today?" Here's where you feed her chocolate and coffee, Clark. Lois bit her lip nervously. "Promise you won't tell anyone? Anyone at all? Not Perry or Jimmy or even Superman?" Ah, so we're in Season 1 or 2. Of course, he was not oblivious to the irony of that statement, and knew just how hypocritical he was. He had to tell her, and soon, but timing was everything, and Clark just didn't know when it-- "They're... prank ideas? That's what all of the fuss is about?" Oooh! Hmmm...does she know/suspect and *that* is the actual prank? Now *that* would be fun too. Clark finally allowed himself to chuckle at her behavior as he booted up his computer and thought about just what he could do to turn the tables on his girlfriend. Wait...is *this* the prank? Making us wait in suspense? Ack! More now please!

My, oh, my... Lois is walking herself into a bad situation, isn't she? Or does she know and she's going to prank Clark into revealing himself to her? Can't wait!

(see edit above) Thank you. <pictures Lois as Megamind> I won't say. Now *that* would be fun too. I toyed with the idea of messing with the Kents. But I went with this. Wait...is *this* the prank? Making us wait in suspense? Ack! You've caught me. More to come tomorrow though!

Glad you're enjoying it so far! Hope you're not disappointed... but it will be unexpected, that's for sure. And yes. Bad situation. For both of them.

Ooooooh! and she promptly minimized the document on her screen and spun around in her chair with a forced smile. "Yes?" /squints eyes/ "Fine, Clark. Everything's fine. Geez, why has everyone been so darn curious today?" Subtle. Very subtle. "Promise you won't tell anyone? Anyone at all? Not Perry or Jimmy or even Superman?" Michael

"O-kay," he dragged out the syllables. "But only if it's not something terrible I'm going to need to actually go to Superman or the police about." You never know, Clark. So, who does Lois want to prank? "Yes, but they're for everybody. See- Perry, Jimmy, Ralph..." So, she plans on pranking the whole newspaper. I wonder if she'll get Clark, too. Or, if somebody will end up getting her. She even wants to prank Superman! Clark finally allowed himself to chuckle at her behavior as he booted up his computer and thought about just what he could do to turn the tables on his girlfriend. [/QB] This is getting good! I can't wait to see if Lois somehow successfully gets Superman or if Clark turns the tables on her! Unfortunately, I'll have to wait to read part two because I'm busy right now.

You know, Teri would make a fantastic Bond villain (she's already done the Bond girl part). Move over, Pussy Galore. It's Mad Dog Lane. Well, we do have to decide: Teri's Lois or Lois's Lois as the villain? Michael

It looks great, Mouserocks! I can't believe you used the cheesiest title I suggested, but I'm glad you liked it! All the fun feedback is so great to read! I was truly honored to be a part of your creative process and I think your story turned out fabulous! How could it not?

Great 1st part! I'm curious about the pranks Lois is going to pull, especially the one on Superman. The title is awesome "Fine! Stick in the mud," Lois huffed in indignation. "Just stay out of my way. I never even needed your help. I can handle it myself," she ended up muttering under her breath. Clark finally allowed himself to chuckle at her behavior as he booted up his computer and thought about just what he could do to turn the tables on his girlfriend. I like this annoyed Lois and plotting Clark. Endless possibilities for the next part with this ending! Wonderful work, Mouserocks!!
