Nice little story. It's really just like Lois to go to the premiere just to gloat, not to mention exchange sweet little insults with Linda. He shook his head and turned around again to face her. "That movie was a work of fiction, Lois. I never saved Linda from the Omiri ambassador and I certainly never kissed her." That lipstick of Linda's sure has super powers of its own. Hmm. Sequel?

Sort of guessed that was coming (or red K in the mix), but it worked pretty well. Nice one!

Awesome, loved it! It wasn't until Superman put in an appearance that I remembered the lipstick. Nice touch and a sweet revelation story!
Was delighted to see another Sue S story on the boards!

Love it, Sue! I remembered the lipstick as soon as he changed suits, but then it was fun to watch to see when she caught on. I think it was the eye-widening part... Perfect tagline -- explains everything *and* Lois gets the last word.
Thanks for posting!

I've now read this several times - it's that good! - and still I break into a smile on that last line!
I'm in two minds, however, as to when the penny dropped for Lois and she realised Superman was actually Clark; was it when she narrowed her eyes, or was it when her mouth went slack and she traced her fingers over his cheek? What do other readers think?

What do other readers think? I never had a doubt. I could be wrong, but I was sure that it was right here. ...she blinked and her mouth went slack. Her hand rose to touch his face, her eyes leaving his to track the movement of her fingers across his cheek. Bob

Sue, another winner! Try to fly your way out of that one, Clark! Lots of fun!

Sue this was just great! A fun, smart and sexy way to start off the day.
A sweet WAFFY story, great revelation and Linda King FINALLY gets her comeuppance!
Personally I think it was when Lois narrowed her eyes!

ETA: Does anyone have a suggestion for the movie's title? I never could come up with one, which is they never mention it by name. How about "Deadline"?

Sue, I read this on my BBerry and didn't trust it to create the FDK for you and by the time I was on my computer Lara had already done so. Wonderful story. I must say, I had forgotten all about the lipstick, as aparently Clark had. The way she trapped him into a reveal was marvelous. Well done.
