I love "Wild Bill"! He is hilarious. I can see why Noel fell for him so easily (Kryptonian soul mate vibe or not.) He's quick thinking, quick talking, and for some reason reminds me a bit of Lois. Poor Noel / Celeste. What a first impression! And then to go and do it all over again to make an even more memorable 2nd impression. Enjoyable vignette, Ken. BTW, you have until Labor Day to get them in, so no rush on the others. I wouldn't want to put you behind on the Matchmaker Chronicles.

A writer's job is to think of new plots and create characters who stay with you long after the final page has been read. If that mission is accomplished than we have done what we set out to do, which is to entertain and hopefully educate.

As far as the Matchmaker set we still have 3.5 weeks of Lost Years. Volume 4 - Titled Clark and Lois - Despair to Hope is in the can and will take 11.5 weeks to post. Volume 5 titled Hope Realized is just about finished the beta process and will run about 13 weeks. Hey, I'm still ahead of Michael. A little bit, at least. But I have a little bit of time to catch up on the last ten parts or so. I enjoy reading them one right after another. It's the wait that kills me. Right now, I'm trying to catch up on my cushion before I get sucked into what's going on in your Metropolis. Actually, I think I owe you a few FDK, because I read up to about 33 at the airport. (<-- where I left off)

Hi Virginia,
No rush on Lost Years. No more 'major' cliffies.
I must say that my muse has been busy. Plotlines have been running through my head and I will probably start writing First Love part 4 Monday, oh my gosh, I just realized, it's Monday already. Well, after I get some sleep and in between server builds and updates.

, “Things are going well. Thank you for interceding with the Superman foundation to fund our little project. We see an average of two hundred people a day. It really keeps my staff hopping!” What kind of project? “Yeah, and we do some really good work, treating the poor and uninsured.” Ah yes. And here I thought some kind of medical testing. The driver opened the door and stepped out. He addressed her, “Well, you’ve done it again! The car I was chasing was the getaway car from a liquor store heist.” Michael

Hi Michael, Thanks for the FDK! I hope you're getting your money's worth out of these little fics. I hope to have them all in by Labor day.

Hi Michael,
Just to clarify - the little project.
Celeste went into Family Practice after she finished her internship at MetGen, during which time she and Sean worked together occasionally.
Most of these stories, the flashbacks that is, are to the period that they were doing their internships or the period that she was in the MetGen Family Practice clinic before she started her own practice.
Sean accepted a position as an ER Physician after his Internship was completed.
Celeste's little project is a free family prectice clinic in the Suicide Slum area supported by the Superman Foundation.
