Cute fic. 'It could use a polish,' as Perry would say, but no cringe worthy mistakes. So take heart. PS I LOVE cheese!

Is this a hint? Should we all get together and buy a subscription to cheese of the month for the mouse?

How could anyone get sick of Havarti? It's great on sandwiches and on crackers. Didn't he tell her about Cheese of the Month during AtAi? If so, this could count towards the S3 reveal challenge too, one where Clark was lunkheaded enough to entrust his girlfriend with a set of keys, so she wouldn't always lockpick his door whenever she came over.

Oh boy! Mouse you started something! Personally I like Havarti, Swiss, Muenster and several other cheeses. Havarti is my absolute favorite, especially grilled between two slices of pumpernickel. Yum! Oops! Yeah, right, back to the story. Really good and funny. He should have never let Lois have keys to his apartment. Yeah Ken, we should all get together and give Mouse her own cheese collection!

give or take a couple of evil maniacs. <points to Luthor> Cheese of the Month Club?! And *that's* what you get for lying, Clark. instead of searching fruitlessly for a suitable place for the demon-box. But now I'm craving some fresh mozzarella with oil and balsamic vinegar.

He's lucky he wasn't elected president in 1802. He might have ended up with this. Talk about your digestive difficulties. Wow.

Lois changing the address for chocolate--perfect. Given any difficulties she'd probably badger Jimmy into hacking into the system to make the change. She could afford it, but where's the triumph in that?
She'd act all innocent about it, too.

She'd act all innocent about it, too. Not only act innocent, but also convince Clark she did him a favor.

Great story but I'm having a hard time agreeing with the central concept, because I love cheese.

No! No thanks! Cheese of the month not necessary... I'm very picky with my cheeses... Glad everybody likes this so far, despite it's cheesiness.

Oh, man....now I want Havarti on pumpernickel. Best cheese sandwich I ever had. Munroe, Wisconsin, home of the Swiss Colony and a bi-annual Cheese Festival. I think the place I got it was even on the Food Network! The cheese was from Decatur Dairy, in Brodhead. Yum-o! Poor Clark. Hi Mouse! ***** I Hate Cheese ***** So, something about the Cheese of the Month club? To be perfectly honest, I wasn't raised to have a hatred of anything. I don't think I've ever really grown to despise anything as much as this- give or take a couple of evil maniacs. But it's become a fact of life.
I hate cheese. Hmmm…I want to say Lois because Clark always runs out on her because of his Cheese of the Month subscription coming in. But she’s got to have more hate than that in her. So, Clark? And he hates cheese because of his subscription? I shudder as I lug yet another box of fine cheeses into my apartment, trying to literally clamp down on the urge to gag. Michael

Funny thing. I was watching "How to become a Millionaire" while walking on the treadmill the other day (otherwise I wouldn't watch it) and the woman playing wanted to spend her winnings on a "Cheese of the Month" club. I instantly thought she must be an LnC fan and she was sending coded messages through the TV to her friends! EDIT: Michael wrote: Met Star headline next week: Superman missing. Vigil continues in Centennial Park.
I sooooo could see this happening!

Some of my fellow chorus members read this story on a cell phone last night while we were waiting backstage at rehearsal. It led to a lot of giggling and some lively debate about what kind of cheese is best.
"Oh, you can’t help that," said the Cat: "we’re all mad here. I’m mad. You’re mad." "How do you know I’m mad?" said Alice. "You must be," said the Cat, "or you wouldn’t have come here.”
