Yay! I get to start the topic! This was very cute and clever. 16, eh? /me affixes spongy material to front and rear bumpers of car I see I'm not the only one who was born in close proximity to their father's birthday. Not only was it cute and clever, it made me repeatedly. I particularly liked: This giant cake to my left---erm, I mean this giant cake to my right… Sorry. We can edit that out, can’t we?
We’re LIVE? Hmm, here’s an odd-shaped one; the card says ‘Happy Birthday from the FoLCs’. Who the heck are the FoLCs? and if I don't stop quoting now, I'll have th whole thing reposted here, fragment by fragment! Happy early birthday, Mary! And a happy birthday to your dad.
Do you know the most surprising thing about divorce? It doesn't actually kill you, like a bullet to the heart or a head-on car wreck. It should. When someone you've promised to cherish till death do you part says, "I never loved you," it should kill you instantly.

Hi, Cute story.
Maria D. Ferdez. --- Don't like Luthor, unfinished, untitled and crossover story, and people that promises and don't deliver. I'm getting choosy with age. MAF

Okay, this large one is from Ex-mayor White, and the one next to it is from Congresswoman Brittany Spears. Very cute fic, QoC! Hazel, who was glad the FoLCs could participate
Lois: You know the deal. Clark: Superman gets the guys in capes, Lois and Clark get the guys in suits.

Grinned all the way through it! Lance Sharper! LOL. And the inanity of his coverage - so perfect. Thanks for a great beginning to my day, Mary, and Happy Birthday to your dad, and an early Happy Birthday, to you. C.

LOL, Mary, that was sweet. How nice of you, it's your birthday, and you gave us this present! I liked this story (Congresswoman Spears and Senator Timberlake, indeed!) And, of course, no one would want to stand next to the cake if Superman's daughters were blowing out the candles! lol Very nice. Happy Birthday to you and your Dad! - Vicki

LOL! Happy birthday to you! I think this trend of writing fics for your own birthday is a good one. Or, at least, (and I can say this since I did it once myself ) everyone should have to do it at least once! Cute story. I liked all the little funny mentions -- Spears and Timberlake, indeed! But are they married in this universe is the question <g> -- but I was really laughing over "Paris" with the veil that she can't take off and her father being in the daycare business. She doesn't have a younger brother (or is it two?) named "Prince", does she? Let's just hope that daycare center was scrutinized VERY carefully. Nice way to give Alt Clark a happy ending without even giving him a line. Kathy

Yeah, Lynn. But on the whole, I don't think I'd like to relive ages 16 to (guess Yvonne's age). Once was enough. Fun birthday story, Mary - I think at least one of the jokes passed me by (the veil?) but I still got plenty of laughs. Yvonne

Loved this! Smiled all the way through. So clever and so dead-on. I felt like I was watching it.
The bit with the candles was my favorite, but also, since I have a soft spot for him, I really appreciated a glimpse into a happy alt-Clark's life.
Happy belated birthday, hope it was a good one!

Thank you all for the wonderful feedback! I'm glad ya'll liked the story. Yvonne--Are you familiar with Michael Jackson, AKA the King of Pop? He has three children (I think) named Prince Michael, Paris, and Prince Michael II. (Is that information 100% correct?) All of them wear veils in public so no one can see their faces. Wierd, but true. CC---Thanks, but technically it isn't my birthday yet. The 5th was my Dad's birthday; mine is on the 16th. So you're not belated.

Yes, Mary, I've heard of Michael Jackson, but I didn't know about the veil thing. Good grief - is there no end to the man's lunacy?
