And no I don't know why that image arose, it just did.
Well, Cat is a gossip columnist, after all, and announcing a bombshell like Superman having been secretly married does seem like it would be her territory. wink I'm glad you enjoyed the story. Thanks, Framework4.

Shouldn’t Lana be Lana Kent?
Or, she could be Lana Lang-Kent. wink

I'm glad you enjoyed it, Michael. Thanks for the feedback.

Definitely made me laugh - just what WOULD Superman do about a pesky reporter who constantly interrupted his life yet WASN'T the woman of his dreams?

(oh, great, now I'm picturing this as a L&C scenario but several years after S4, when the next generation of reporters is hitting the beat)

Liked Lana's reactions, and I found the closet scene to be hilarious. Poor Clark, caught in the middle!

That's the exact question I asked myself when I read the challenge that inspired this story. Since on the show and pretty much almost every other adaptation of Superman Lois is the love of Superman's life, it's not much of a problem for him to drop what he'd doing for her. I imagine, though, that if he was married to another woman, Superman frequently having to save Lois would make the woman in his life just a little unhappy.

I'm happy to hear that you saw the humor of the story. That's certainly what I was going for.

Incidentally, since this thread was bumped up, I thought I would mention that I have been typing up a few of my ideas for a sequel, but everything hasn't quite gelled together the way I want it to as of yet.
