I started this story two days ago at lunch and couldn't put it down. Well, I *had* to, you know, RL and all... but I didn't *want* to. laugh Thankfully, it wasn't too long and I was able to finish it last night.

This story was everything a Christmas WAFF story should be. Cute, romantic, Lois freakin' out, Clark being there for her, and a naughty little elf...er... sister making sure all the magic happened as it should. I loved everyone coming together to get the job done. clap

I have to admit I kept waiting for the twist, when everything went wrong and Lucy got snared in her own trap and Lois stomped off and wasn't there for the party and all, but none of that happened. It was refreshing for a change. laugh Clearly, it's good to be out of my own head for a while. /note to self: FINISH Wrong Clark already. wallbash /

I can see myself turning to this story to put me in the Christmas spirit when the weather turns sour, and the kids are screaming "I'm bored, Mommy! Entertain me!" (I *so* wish that wasn't in quote marks.)

Great story! This is the romantic WAFF I need at the end of the year (or at the beginning or in the middle...) to help me make it until after New Years. Terrific suggestion! Thank you.

I really enjoyed this one, too. It was nice to read a story with Lucy as a main character since she was only in a handful of episodes in the actual show. For some reason, I always enjoy reading about those characters that we didn't get to know as well as we got to know Clark, Lois, Perry, Jimmy, etc.

It was sweet of Lucy to try so hard to get Lois the perfect Christmas present, and I'm glad all of her scheming ended in success. I loved the way the relationship between the two sisters was portrayed in this story. It really came through just how important Lois was to Lucy.

Lucy's scheme was the perfect way to push Lois closer to Clark. I loved how jealous Lois got when she thought Lucy was interested in Clark. It was very much like what we saw on the show whenever Lois noticed another woman paying attention to Clark. I also liked how the whole staff came together to help Lucy out with her scheme, even if it was partially because the idea of torturing Lois was appealing, as Jimmy said. rotflol

All in all, this was a really great Christmas story. I'm glad that this one was selected for us to read.

It took awhile for this story to grow on me. Lucy's actions seemed mean spirited, until I read the satisfying end.

Well done Lucy!

A writer's job is to think of new plots and create characters who stay with you long after the final page has been read. If that mission is accomplished than we have done what we set out to do, which is to entertain and hopefully educate.
