Oh, this is great. I love the way you just dive into the scene, really getting us into Lois's head. Especially the exasperation at him 'protecting' her! Funny how things can change so quickly...

Seriously, though, I can't wait to see where you two take our poor suffering friends. I get the feeling that there's going to be a lot of pain before that happy ending.
