My friend keeps on urging me to check out VM, but so far I've never gotten to it. So the theme was new to me.

Are you trying to recreate the style of the opening credits, as well as using the theme? I loved the 'negative' flashes and the torn memo page look. Are these from the look of the VM credits? Either way - very cool!
