I'm really impressed by your set-up...Clark changing his name, writing travel pieces, down the line his work gets picked up by the Planet. It's a great way to have pulled them apart, but then also, bring them back together
. Oh--and I'll try not to gush too much about how much I
loved Lois immediately recognizing Clark's work
. Despite their issues with communication between each other, there is such a cohesive way that they can communicate with their written words.
Perry is amazingly, perfectly perceptive. I love that Clark has been gone a year, and yet--because Perry really came to care for Clark--he tries to protect him.
And I love the reality check that was thrown at Lois. Lois' jump-first-into-the-pool reaction was to track Clark down...do what her gut was telling her to do. But...she needs to lead with her heart. Know the 'Why' beforehand. Have an idea of an end result she's wanting to achieve.
Because really, she's engaged. Settled into life in Metropolis. And Clark is damaged, and trying to somehow put himself back together again, as he travels the world.
Part 3 can not come soon enough!!!
