This has to be my favorite part...
Lois paused, wondering how best to lead him where she wanted him. “He said Liam’s mom was really nice. And he liked the snacks she brought today.”
Read.
She waited for the three dots.
Waited some more.
Thump. “What is this?” Clark asked, holding his phone aloft.
I love this. How often do I sit and wait for those three dots, especially after I see the read notification. I feel Lois' frustrations.
Then to be on the other end of that message, one with many layers to it, to be so frustrated that all you have is to type furiously back, yet here is Clark, annoyed, and just flying over to see Lois and straighten things out.
