Pipe bombs. Clark is very, very worried and he has every right to be because no one knows when and where they will go off next. So far, they have been in the background, but going forward they will perhaps become central to the story? whistle Watching and wait for every part and plot twist to come!

Martha had been unfailingly kind to her since the divorce, but their relationship had gone from one of genuine love and affection to polite but distant acquaintances.

One of the saddest lines in your excellent story! Martha and Jonathan were the superglue that helped to make the Kents a strong, loving family. Poor Martha had to endure the lost of a beloved husband while watching from a distance the inexorably slow disintegration of her only child's marriage. Naturally, the pain and disappointment in Lois' failure to fight for the relationship must have been tremendous. Yet she was always kind to Lois. Class act. Now the years are going by and she is alone. Is it time for Martha to move to Metropolis permanently and become a steady part of their lives? It might take a bit of coaxing on both Clark and Lois' part, but Martha might be game for the change. Personally, I can hardly wait to see how Martha without Jonathan will be portrayed. wave

A writer's job is to think of new plots and create characters who stay with you long after the final page has been read. If that mission is accomplished than we have done what we set out to do, which is to entertain and hopefully educate.
