That was very well done, by the way. Maybe altClark can grab a tarp or a sheet and use it as a hammock to slow down Nigel's fall. Or he can zap the ring's band with his heat vision, blow it away with his breath, and speed-zip Nigel away at an angle to avoid the exposure. You'll think of something.
Or Nigel will be street pizza. Either way it's a great story.
