They never told him about Superman. Guess …a good idea. And his dad was just away on foreign business. Also, Little Jon is quite unlike Lois, what with him recognizing Clark without glasses.
He's still too young to learn about Superman, I think! But yes, he immediately recognizes Clark.

Some…emotions that were not his. Something that made him feel happy and sad at the same time.
That’s gonna be a confusing childhood from now on. His dad’s not known for keeping his emotions in check.
