I wonder what the gossip was about. They were talking about wedding, but it doesn't look like Clark is involved with Lana (thankfully). Anyway, he's already smitten with Lois. Looking forward to seeing them spending more time together.
Clark wants to work for the Planet, but it doesn't seem likely that he's going to leave his mother living alone at the farm. I wonder how this will play out.
