I hadn’t really envisioned a sequel of any kind to Undercover Reporter. While the plot still left a mess for our intrepid reporters to sort out, the emotional story felt complete and resolved to me, and I thought they could handle the rest. As a first time writer here, it never occurred to me that anyone would ask for more!
With three very long other fics in the works, the last thing I wanted to do was to get wrapped up in Undercover. But then Andreia said the magic word, ‘Epilogue,’ and I thought that sounded like something I could handle. Two days later, I had 30 pages drafted. And then I realized that I could solve another in-universe problem that has been picking at me. Naturally, the little epilogue of Lois and Clark writing their ‘page 8 story’ is now about twice the length of the original Undercover Reporter, now subtitled 'Revelation'.
