Aw, what a cute date. Well, not-date if you ask them but still. Now who's gonna tell them they are totally dating LOL
Aaand the War Guy is back! Way to go jerk. Wonder why he's so obsessed to get Clark into his team given Clark makes it so clear he doesn't want to write for him and his journalistic style doesn't match what Guerra wants anyway. There seems to be more to this, maybe more than Clark shared, or an extra motive involved.
Oh these two are so soft for each other...The ice cream is certainly not the only thing that melts here.
Ah, decisions-decisions...
So Lois has. Will she take it...or will she instead go the farm route...and what about Clark's two desires?
I mean, with his powers and such, he *could* do both, in theory, I assume...if he really wants. But I'd imagine that to be super stressy even for him, and hard to explain, so probably not.
Either way, I feel like at the end of this road, one or both will have to sacrifice certain things in order to get/keep others, regardless of the outcome.
The blanket feels warm? Well Lois, that happenes when your personal farmboy heat-visions it for you...
Still enjoy the read. It's a bit different than your other stories (though it's hard to say why) but still very much an FH fic in many regards. I'm unsure how you're going to resolve (or at least part-resolve) this in just three more parts given the relative slow pace (which is in tune with the setting though) we have here. Well, we will find out, I assume.
