I’m feeling a little sad that Martha believes so absolutely Clark would never leave farming. I mean, maybe she’s right, but Lois is also right: What would Clark do if he weren’t toiling under the weight of duty? I want Clark to have a real choice, just like Lois is gearing up to have a real choice. I’m also wondering if Clark is going to take 20 minutes and haul in the rest of the bales and if so, what will Lois’ reporter mind do with the knowledge of his impossible speed.
