I'm so glad that there's nothing romantic about Lana's feelings for Clark (Smallville scarred me for life whenever Lana is mentioned grumble).

I feel sorry for Clark. He likes living on the farm, but I believe this is not what he dreamed for his life (or he wouldn't have gotten a Journalism degree). I feel like he doesn't even dare to wish for something different because he worries about his mother and doesn't want to leave her alone. It's like the situation with Lana: he was willing to marry her though he didn't love her, just because this is what people expected him to do. He always thinks of other people's needs and not his own. While this is noble, it is sad that he only does what is best for others but never for himself. sad

It looks like Lois will have to make a decision soon. I hope she doesn't give it up on her feelings for Clark. grovel
