This, like everything I've read of yours, is a fascinating glimpse of a very interesting premise. But I hope you realize that you've set up a temporal paradox between future Cat and 1993 Cat. Unless, of course, 1993 Cat helps send Jordan "Back To The Future Cat!" (sorry, movie reference slipped out) and his own time period and either promises to act as if she doesn't know him or has her memories of him overlaid. If her memories were overlaid, that would explain her forgetting Clark's name - unless she's being coy and keeping her promise to behave as if she doesn't know him from her past. That would also explain her forwardness in offering him a "hot grind" - er, coffee. Because she already knows him, you see, even though he doesn't know that yet.

I'm sure you have a resolution for this conundrum already set up in a future chapter. Or - have you already written it in a previous chapter that was pulled through a time portal into the future and the post just hasn't shown up on the boards yet?

(insert Twilight Zone theme here)

I just realized that you didn't mention what coding language Jordan was using! Python? Java? Javascript? (two different flavors) Basic? (probably not) Assembler? (really clunky) HTML? Something esoteric like R? Curious minds are curious!
