My first thought was what is child Lois doing talking to a stranger? The second was well it‘s unreal, a man flying by? A fairy? Yeah probably what child Lois would think.
That's exactly what I thought. When I was reading about Peter Pan and thought there were actually similarities between Clark visiting Lois as Superman and Peter coming to Wendy, I felt that this scenario was the only that would work: a Lois well in the age of believing in magic, where she wouldn't really question that a flying man passes her window, and a Clerk Kent who is even longer than our Clark.
