Oh I'm loving this fic! Poor Clark, blaming himself for everything, and having to essentially leave the only home he'd ever known. How old is he again? If he left when he was 12 and is an adult now, it's been at least 6 years, right? Is that enough time to start feeling more like a part of his new family? I genuinely don't know. This whole AU is fascinating!
