I am glad that you have themselves questioning each other as to why they feel so connected already. It makes it more realistic and also shows they aren't taking it lightly.
I love the interaction between Martha and Lois. Makes me wish Martha was around to hug me.

It makes me angry that Lois had to hear that from her father, but it's almost as bad that Clark had to hear it. Listening to awful words like that about someone you love can hurt almost as much as hearing them about yourself.
