This is first season Lois who has done nothing to prove herself to Clark - certainly not by dating that <um to borrow someone else's term> Fink, Lex Luthor. Clark simply doesn't know her well enough to know if she would take his secret straight to Luthor (or even accidentally reveal it somehow).
