Wow. I really liked this chapter. I know that magic and the occult aren't interesting to some, but the way you've woven it into this episode has been fascinating.
Clark's instincts are still causing him to act like Superman, but neither he or Lois sees it, even when his glasses get knocked off. I know the wind was blowing, but I wonder if at some point, her subconscious mind won't connect the image of Clark leaping to the alter and snatching up the boy with an image of Superman flying to the rescue.
Lovely story. Can't wait for more.
