I actually liked that ending (I know, can you believe it).
I was so worried you'd give us a happily ever after without them having discussed things through, but you didn't, and for that I'm very glad.
This is the start of something, but there's also a lot of water under the bridge to be settled. I like that. If the story were to end here, I'd think it was too quick of an ending, but there's UP, which I'm looking forward to. I can't imagine things will be smooth running for here, and we'll get a sense as to how these characters deal with future troubles.
