I love the line about her not doing well with parents. I've heard people say that about dogs or maybe kids, but never parents.
I like her teasing him about diabolical blackmail. Thwarting would be awful; I'm glad that he just gives in.
The next vignette should focus on Lois' getting her wish. She needs to go with him the next time he does a food run.
