You know, it's actually kind of creepy, reading about the people that died in this version, because Clark was busy irradiating himself with the kryptonite locket. (just assuming that's what happened.) The bus ladies; Beatrice in the theatre tear-down... Clark, Clark, Clark!
I agree with previous posters - I hope Clark comes to his senses soon enough to save Lois and Jimmy from being chained up and left to die, and also that he'll be able to save the colonists' transport. But it's not looking too good right now.
