"Superman," Henderson said, a little breathlessly. He seemed poised, as if he expected Clark to fly away at any moment. "We had a tip-off that this wasn't an accident, that someone sabotaged the track and weakened the structure of the tunnel to maximise the damage. What do you think?"
Huh, what's with the A-plot?
Well, well, well,...
He opened it and stared.
It was Lois.
"I ... I thought I was coming to your apartment," he managed, feeling mind-numbingly unprepared for her presence.
Does not date. Period. does she not date guys? Is she into aliens? Is it just because this is Lois and Clark and this is a LnC fic, so any time Lois is acting just like a friend and neither unfriendly or mooney-eyed causes complete and utter confusion in the readership?
Clark saw the wire leading to her ear and suddenly understood. "You were listening to the Hawthorn game?" he asked.
Hmm... Now this sounds like she cares more about her team then the game assigned to her. Can you concentrate on two games at once?
And will you post again soon?
