I didn't mean for the preview to suggest that there was a problem b/t Lois and Clark. Just prior to this bit, they are discussing the murders. The hurt in Clark's eyes is about remembering how everyone (except Lois) believes he is a killer.
As I've said before, I don't put much thought into the previews
I chose this one so you'd know there's going to be an unexpected visitor.
