Lois really risked it all. It was almost out of character for her to set herself up for the heartache Mr. Stubborn Redboots would give her the next morning, since he was blind. Except that she truly loves him and she needed to give him that last push. Plus, if he broke her heart, she could always hold it over his head for the rest of his life.
He was about to break her heart. He knew that with absolute certainty. Given the number of men who had hurt her in the past, it was remarkable the risk she’d taken by coming to his cabin last night, of making love to him without any sort of commitment. She’d put her heart on the line and he was about to deliver the final devastating blow.
Clark was reading my mind here... As what I expected to hear from his character next.
Had he forgotten so quickly that he had just thought these words...
What? Been unable to resist? Even thinking that gave him a pang of disgust. He’d always abhorred men who claimed they were unable to resist as an excuse to take advantage of a woman. Yet, now he was no better than they were.
Hhhhmmmm, Clark. It's true. You're male. And you can't resist Lois. And it's only going to be... more difficult from now on.
So, no curing blindness with a little intimacy?

I agree with those (from Part 6) who said looking into the sun probably isn't doing his eyes any good. I wish I had thought of that. But once I read it I did an audible Tempus 'Duh!'
So, what now? Will she be able to convince him to return to Metropolis?
Will Perry hire him back as a blind reporter? Of course, if you're a good typist -- and Clark is -- one just needs to put ones fingers on the right keys and go! to write a story. And he can still interview people. True, describing the scenes, not so much, but he's good friends (or was before he left Metropolis without a by your leave) with a photographer. I'm sure Jimmy will forgive him... eventually. Everyone is going to be hurt that he didn't trust them enough to tell them the truth. And what will the cover story be? How did CK become blind? They can't use the same story as with Superman, it might give the bad eyedoctors a clue. Okay, I'm officially rambling.
Please, tell us... Will Episode 2 be coming in two nights or are your going to make us wait? Please, don't make us wait.
