Oh wow, Wendy...that was a beautiful beginning. The only thing that I think is sad, is that it is only a short story.
A beginning like this could make also a great longer story.
But I'm trying not to complain.
It's a wonderful start to what seems to be a wonderful story, and I can't wait to read more, especially about what happens when Lois wakes up.
