Okay I could be way off base here, but I think it was drugs of some sort. This was in a fantastic story, whose name completely escapes me right now. Am I horribly wrong?

I'm terrible. I remember the name of the drug (Eagle). I even remember the story (mostly). LL is a Daily Planet reporter posing as a manager of a club(or a few clubs)/potential drug buyer. CK is reporter for a UK newspaper/chemist/purity control specialist for the syndicate.
They meet. Sparks fly. A lot of misunderstandings, but eventually a happy ending. CK moves over to Metropolis and Superman is born.......
But I just can't remember the title and the author of the story! :p

Okay, George Lini is from Nan's great story, Mystery. He was fourteen years old when Billy Moran was killed. He was a street kid, and he stole some cash from Moran's safe to set himself in business. (Pam, I didn't need the hint; I was just worried about finding another question to ask!)

Future Bernie told Future Lee that he'd known about Superman = Clark when he knew perfectly well that the Future Lee (when she went back in time) would spill the beans to Past Bernie. Or something like that. Time travel is confusing!
