Howdy FoLCs,
Does anyone know off the top of their heads what the cannon is regarding Lucy Lane at the end of the series? Yes, I could go back and watch the last two seasons, but I'm hoping I don't have to (although that would allow me to catch up on my laundry folding). In other words, if one wanted to write a story set after the end of the show, what constraints does cannon put on Lucy? Do we know where she is? What she's up to? Who she's with? Any leads? Or is she pretty much a blank slate?
Thanks much!

There's nothing in L&C continuity as far as I know. In the comics she married Ron Troupe, an African-American reporter, but this seems to have been retconned away more recently, in favour of a story line in which she secretly joined the army, somehow acquired super-powers, and is now calling herself Superwoman! Since this story-line also has her killing someone, and is premised on Sam Lane being a general in the Army, it's not even slightly canon for L&C.

The last thing I remember about Lucy in L&C canon was that she dated Johnny Corbin, and didn't go to L&C's wedding disasters.

Thank you! That means I can pretty much do whatever I like with her What about the comments in several fanfics about her having gone to California? Anybody know if that's cannon? Or maybe just fannon. Thanks again, Happy

Lucy was in California before the episode Metallo. From Season\'s Greedings : Lois (speaking at the phone): Oh. Venice, California... He's either going to be an artist or an actor? Well, good luck, Lucy. You're gonna need it... merry Christmas. And from Metallo : Clark: So Lucy, how's it feel to be back in Metropolis?Lucy: Great. California was fun, but it was time to get back to school and finish my degree. Andreia

In Season's Greedings, she spends Christmas in Venice, CA with her new boyfriend. I can't think of any other references to California in the series off the top of my head, but that doesn't mean anything!

The last mention I remember of her was in INPY, when the church deacon said she was at the airport: "Apparently, she was running late for her plane and set off the metal detector when she went through. I guess she got a bit frustrated at the delay.
"She slugged a Security Guard. She's in jail, and they won't hear bail until Monday."
So she obviously wasn't living in Metropolis 3rd season.

If I can wander OT, there was a hilarious short that described exactly what happened that caused Lucy to get into trouble at the airport. I can't remember either title or author (which means I'm not much help ), but it's worth a read. Elisabeth
