Okay, everyone... Tricia has sent a few of us an email offering to let us do the awards Sunday evening. How does everyone feel about that? We need some quick answers here!

Let me say, though, that most people (in the other thread) and on the MIRC #loisclark are thinking next Saturday would be a better time. So let me know either way. Nancy

My thought is that *any* rescheduled time is better than a cancelled ceremony. And if I can't make whatever time it is rescheduled to, I could always read the logs. So I'm flexible. I would say choose whatever date and time works best for the presenters and authors. cheers, Lynn

I would prefer next Saturday but again, whatever time works out best for the people who are actually doing the work is OK with me. (I have Little Red Hen Friend syndrome - I don't want to do the work but I want to eat the bread!) I could be a presenter next Saturday if that would help.

I can't make next week can't even log can the week after. Would prefer to miss the ceremony than to not have one...

No day is going to be perfect for everyone -- some people won't be able to come next weekend, others might have been busy tonight but free next week. That said, I think pushing it back a week (rather than a day) would allow more time to alert people to the change and give them a chance to rearrange their schedules.

To clarify my reply in the other thread, any time/day will work for me as long as it isn't a work day/time for me.

I'm glad we're rescheduling because this is a tradition we shouldn't allow to fall into disrepair. But... Sunday evening means middle of the night/Monday morning for me so only my IRC-client will be attending Michael

I'd have the same problem as Michael - it would start at midnight here but I don't care. As long as we have a ceremony!!!

Next Saturday, please. A ceremony running from midnight to 2 or 3 am is just too late for me as I have to get up at 4:30 on every day but Sunday.

I'd prefer next Saturday rather than tonight. But the people doing the work are the ones who really count in this. Artemis

<sigh> If it's at the same time, I don't know that next Saturday would work for me either. I think it would be worth trying to reschedule. The Kerths are so much fun and it's always such a kick getting to hang out with so many FoLCs at the same time. I realize this is a lot of effort and hard work for the K-Comm though. Whatever is easiest for you guys gets my vote.
Lois: You know, I have a funny feeling that you didn't tell me your biggest secret.
Clark: Well, just to put your little mind at ease, Lois, you're right. Ides of Metropolis

I'm with Sue here. I hope I can attend but I have the same problem each day -- going down at some time to see my brother at the hospital. Jim is about a five year old mentally and has never been in the hospital before, so I have to see him at some time during the day. Once I know when the Kerths are, I'll try to schedule it around them.

Hi guys,
I've been staying out of the Kerth discussion because my schedule is so unpredictable, but I did want to pop in and say that I appreciate everyone's work on this. Schedule whenever works best for the committee and the presenters. I'll be there if I can, and if I have another commitment I'll be thinking of you. I wish I could be more help.

Well, since I'm presenting a couple of categories, I guess I should weigh in. <bg>
If we reschedule the Kerth ceremony for 6:00 PM Eastern time (US), I can make Friday, Saturday or Sunday work, as long as we decide a few days in advance.
Also, let me know if you still need another presenter. I wouldn't mind taking another category.

I need to give up my category (best drama), if BJ wants to take it. I will be in California next weekend and therefore can't make it to the Kerths. I am glad it is being rescheduled, though! It's a great way to honor the great writers in this fandom!

Oh oh... I haven't been active on the boards for months... and then I suddenly rememebered that April meant 'Kerth', and then I couldn't resist popping in to say 'howdy FoLCs' and 'congrats, Kerth winners' only to find Kerth's been... ... rescheduled? Oops! Anyways I dunno if I'll be online to wish the winners... (RL's been pretty tiring) so, my congrats to would-be Kerth winners 2010, though I probably haven't read a single sentence of your stories.

Okay, I'm going to go ahead and tell ya' all that the Kerths have been rescheduled for next Saturday, April 24th at 6 pm EST. If you have offered to present expect an email from Amberlea confirming. And if you can present, post here or email amber. See ya'all there.
