Hi, Martha first as in Martha Ellen, Martha Lucia, Martha Eliz something like that. MAF
Maria D. Ferdez. --- Don't like Luthor, unfinished, untitled and crossover story, and people that promises and don't deliver. I'm getting choosy with age. MAF

I'm envisioning that Lois would want a boy with Clark's looks especially his eyes. I like the name Jordon or Joshua as a second name I thin Ashley works well.

So I was looking through babynames.com to figure out just what I would name Lois & Clark's baby girl, and the best name I found was Jerica Celeste, which quite literally means "gift" and "from the heavens," respectively. Since any child Lois & Clark had would be a miracle, I thought that fit quite nicely.
Mmmm...pie.

James Lol - I never considered that the notorious name question could go beyond "Hey, that sounds cute" Bye, Jana

I think they should have a girl first with the name Laura Martha Kent. I'm not sure how they spelt Laura though.
Lois: You think we'll be together when we get old and gray. Clark: I sure hope so because I don't think I could go on living if living is without you.

I imagine L&C having first a girl and then a boy. I think her first name should begin with L...could be Laura, Lisa, Larissa or another with L  And as second name Martha. Carolyn

Mayson for a girl - L & C were both upset by her death, they might choose to remember her that way.
Herbert or George (for H.G. Wells) for a boy?

I always thought boy for some reason, and ever since reading Wendy Richards stories, (which are excellent, by the way!), I've been partial to the name CJ, which I assume stands for Clark Jr. or Clark Jonathan, something like that.

I have nothing against the name Clark Jr but I don't think Clark would name his son after himself it's something Lex would do to let people he was his son Clark would want his child to have his own identity.

Thanks for the compliment, but this surprises me, because I don't think I've ever used 'CJ' for a son of Clark's. The name I've mostly used, the few times I've written kids, is Jon, for Jonathan. To me, CJ is CJ Cregg from The West Wing. Wendy

Oh, please not another CJ. There are just so many of them in fanfic. I understand lots of Jons, Sams, Marthas and Ellens, but really, how many CJ's has anybody ever met? (Just my opinion - I never was a big fan of initial names.)

I would prefer a name Lara for a girl or Joel for a boy (It sounds a little like Jor-El) as a honouring to Clarks parents

I go with the name Lara, not only because it's my name, but also because I like the sound of it. And it matches perfectly with the surname Lane. Other names I'd like for their girl: Lauren, Catherine and Samantha. These are some of my favs.

I agree with Kathryn and would go with Joel for a boy and Laura for a girl, in honour of Clark's parents. However, the secret identity will be shot if anyone ever says "Joel and Laura" in the same breath -- unless the names of Superman's parents aren't common knowledge?
