What a sweet story. I loved the last line! But I still think that Clark needs to really take Lois dancing. Maybe in a sequel? thumbsup Susan

I'm also just catching up after being away for two weeks.

I really enjoyed this little romp with Lucy. I thought it was well crafted. Loved the title and how well the theme of the song echoed through the whole story.

Lucy's character was fun as well. I felt she was a much younger person than the one we saw on TV, but she was so full of infectious life. I thought that the way she manipulated Perry to do what she wanted, and the rest of the newsroom, worked. Yes, Perry would see your Lucy as the spoiled younger daughter whom he could indulge. Everyone in the newsroom picked up on Lucy's holiday spirit and wanted to get Lois and Clark together. They were tired of walking on egg shells around the two of them.

The surprise worked. Lois was so busy being upset over the Lucy/Clark relationship that she missed all the holiday preparations. And so she was surprised.

And the two sisters had a great talk at the end. Lucy really helped Lois open her eyes.

And Lois did get her perfect kiss under the mistletoe.

Perfect for a cold, wintery day. In short, this story was yum. smile1

I just caught up on this one, too, and it's delightful, Nicole! Loved Lucy's manipulating, and how she got Clark to act just guilty enough to make Lois totally miserable laugh And then how she got Lois to finally open her eyes to what she was doing and what it was costing her.

Really enjoyed this.
