Thank you from the bottom of my heart to all the FoLCs who read, appreciated my stories and voted for me. It means a lot to me!

Thank you to all the amazingly talented writers who keep LnC alive. Congratulations to all winners and nominees. Chosing one story among them was incredibly hard.

Thank you to the K-comm who did a stellar job. This was an awesome ceremony and I'm awed and humbled to have been a part of it.

Wow! Three categories! That's a really nice wake-up call.

I am both amazed and stunned by this honor. My health situation decided to put me in bed really early last night and actually drove the date out of my mind, so I didn't see this until Michael emailed me a congratulations. Thank you so very much! Just goes to show that perseverance pays off in the long run.

I've read quite a few books and magazines on writing, but this is the place where I've put those lessons to best use. I've learned to write here on this site, presenting stories for you FoLCs, and you've forced me to be a better writer with every offering. I wish we could offer real money here, not just for me but for everyone who offers him or herself to be flayed to the bone with every post. There are those who deserve such rewards far more than I do - although I wouldn't turn down a little extra coin.

Still, the standard disclaimer specifically states that we're writing these narratives for love and not for money. I'm not sure I'd survive that rat race. Here, I know that any and all criticism is given for the writer's and the product's improvement, and we're all the more enriched for it.

Thanks to all who helped put this event together. Thanks to all those who offered these tales over the past year. Most of all, thanks to the readers who get to appreciate some of the best writers on the planet, no exaggeration intended or implied. You guys are the greatest ever.

Thanks to the K-Comm for again making an outstanding event. thumbsup

Big thanks to all the authors who keep on writing and posting, only because they love LnC.

And thanks to all who read and liked my Mission story. I'm honored and amazed it won for Best Relationship. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

It has already been said much better by those who have gone before, still it won't hurt to say it again!

Thank you for reading, commenting and voting for all of this year's stories!

A special thanks to the K-Comm. This group of dedicated writers and readers of FoLCs made the ceremony a memorable and rollicking good time for one and all.

Thanks for voting for Waiting for a Lady. It was a joy to win twice!

A writer's job is to think of new plots and create characters who stay with you long after the final page has been read. If that mission is accomplished than we have done what we set out to do, which is to entertain and hopefully educate.

I'm so sorry I missed Kerth season this year.

Congrats to all of those involved with this awesome tradition: authors, readers, and organizers. It takes a lot of work to coordinate the Kerth awards.
