I saw
this article about a pitch that was made for an animated series that splices Superman Rebirth (where Lois and Clark are married with a son named Jon, AKA Superboy) with the wacky hi-jinks of the Silver Age of Comics. Alas, the pitch was turned down, but guys: this is recent. This pitch and the guy who pitched it are still out there. Execs could change their minds, you know?
