So, this is it, my first "Superman and Lois" fanfic. Recently, I've watched the first season after it finally aired in Germany. Yay! I liked the way how they adressed the issue of people needing to trust Superman. I loved Clark's speech about how fragile this trust is, just after he lost his temper with the soldier who shot him in episode 6 ( I think). So, this is my take on gaining Sam Lane's trust. How did he do it?
Please let me know what you think.

I love Superman & Lois and this fic was very much in character ^_^ I enjoyed it a lot, especially his discussion with Sam.
I can't wait to see what follows from this. Will Sam tell Lois what Superman did? What will she think? Will she tell Clark? And will Clark come clean to Lois?

Thank you very much, Blueowl. Glad you enjoyed this. It was something I needed to get out of my system. It's been nagging me for weeks.

I have never watched the show. But I did enjoy reading your story. Such a huge risk for Clark! I can’t help but wonder if Lois would have agreed with Clark’s decision. Looking forward to the next part.
Thanks, Bakasi for introducing me to another Superman—another world where Lois Lane & Clark Kent are together fighting the good fight!!

Loved the ending, and the perspective from Clark was great. And his worry about Lois' reaction and possible fear of him because of him being Superman was so sad. But it was so sweet how she unknowingly reassured him Anyway, I'm now dying to know what Lois thinks of Clark actually having allowed her father to hurt him to get him to trust Superman.... As well as how well she handles the truth..... Sequel?

Thank you so much for reading and reviewing. I'm glad you liked this little story. As for a sequel, so far I'm not planning on writing one. But I guess this won't be the last fic I write in this particular Superman universe. For the moment, I want to keep my muse on track to get the next LnC fic out of the corner I've created.

I'm still working on watching the show, but one of the things I like about it is that it seems to capture their partnership and respect and support for each other.
I like how you've done that here as well!

Thanks so much, PuffyTiger. Actually, for my taste, there could have been more couple moments. The show is so tightly plotted that I miss the fluff we got in LnC. One reason why that is still the one true show. Though Superman and Lois is great, too. I love how they address certain issues, like trust and the possible threat a superpowered being poses that were swept a little under the rug in LnC

I was so glad to find this fic. I like these early years fics because we didn't get to see this phase of their lives, but they are hard to find. I like the fact that Sam and Clark are allies in this reality. I never liked how Sam saw him as an enemy most of time in the comics. They are family, after all. It works so much better with Sam knowing the truth and being a strong ally in the military. I liked the idea of Clark showing Sam that he trusted him. It was the biggest proof he could give that he can be trusted. And it worked. I would love a sequel with Clark telling Lois his secret. Please, tell me you have plans to write more. Andreia

Thank you, Andreia. I have nothing in the works, but I might revisit Superman and Lois for another story
