Awww thank you so much! This series started out with this idea in mind and there is going to be ONE more story to round it off. I am calling it the "Like Herding Cats" trilogy LOL

And now I'm picturing Clark actually borrowing Lois' clothes.
wink
I hope Lois says yes when he finally actually does ask. smirk

Well those last few lines were taken directly from "The Phoenix" right before he does ask her out so we know she says yes. The first two stories were mainly meant to explain how he suddenly changed his mind when she had turned him down before. Still, one more story to come! Thanks for reading!

Hi lovetvfan!

I completely missed that the sequel was already up when I did the first FDK blush

Quote
Today he was going to ask Lois Lane out on a date.
To be fair. He already asked her about 18 months ago.

Quote
The trouble was, he had no idea what sort of clothing she liked on him — unless of course it was blue spandex and a cape
laugh

Quote
When she'd turned him down that day in the park, he'd never known there was a part of him that could hurt so badly.
Even when Trask hit him? Or Lex?

Quote
Until, of course, she confessed her love to him dressed as Superman not even twenty-four hours later.
Basically, first she took his heart with her, then she handed it back as a protein shake for Superman.

Quote
Because it turned out that hurting Lois hurt him too. It hurt him a lot.
So, basically, helpless.

Quote
So now there was no good reason for him to wait. No reason he should feel this nervous.
Except everything is in the line now.

Quote
“Okay, you got me,” he said. “I want to borrow your clothes.”
He’ll give them back in the morning.

Quote
She gave him a pointed look and he knew. Somehow he knew. This would work out.
