Hello again, FoLCS! It's June, and the fandom newsletter is celebrating its first anniversary!  So...what better theme for this months scavenger hunt? Rules are as follows:1. Find a fic that involves an anniversary of some kind and leave a comment on it.
2. Your FDK Post Must include a mention of this scavenger hunt, a genuine comment on the story (this is an FDK Challenge, after all), and a quote from the story which proves that it does contain an anniversary.
3. When you have made your post, report back here to let us know.
4. The fanfic can be from anywhere, as long as it's specifically L&CTNAOS. (See Scoring...)
5. Whether the fic is complete or not does not matter. WIPs welcome.
6. If the fic has multiple chapters, you only need to comment on one; preferably the most relevant one.
7. IF and ONLY IF there is nowhere to leave FDK, you may start a thread for it yourself. (See Scoring...)
8. You MAY NOT tag a fic once someone else has tagged it.
9. You MAY NOT tag your own fic. Leaving yourself FDK is just silly.
10. Multiple entries will ONLY be allowed AFTER nine entrants have reported in: This unlocks the free for all. Scoring has changed up a little bit this month. SCORING:15 points for being the first one to report back here with a tagged fic.
10 points for being second.
5 points for being third.
2 points for entering before free-for-all mode activates (4th - 9th)
1 point for each entry submitted in the free-for-all
10 points for finding the oldest fic (final tally June 30)
5 points for finding the most recent fic (post date of most recent part posted by June 30)
10 points for Most Obscure Source (Mbs and LnC Archive not eligible)
20 points for having the author reply to your comment
5 points for triggering new FDK posts from others on a comment thread whose last reply was older than one year. (these new posts must be also be posted by deadline for this achievement to count).
5 points for posting the first FDK for a fic (Must abide by the rules above, cannot just be you yelling "FIRST!")
5 points for having your own fic tagged. (Only counts if you're, y'know, participating in the challenge.)
10 points for leaving a long FDK post with commentary having more than 3 quotes from the fic. If anyone has any questions, feel free to post here or hit me up on the Discord. Good luck, and Happy Hunting.

Well, you don't get 2 points for being respondent #4-9, but you do get 5 for what is technically a first FDK post.

Oh, yeah, I really need learn how to read number references  (has also failed with *writing* number references as can be observed on own multi-part fic part totals) Also, oooh, really, 5 extra points for necroing the Archive? Michael

Results are in! This month's challenge was steeped in controversy... Okay, not so much "steeped" as just "I did not foresee cross-posting being an issue when I stipulated the rule that new threads can only be posted if there is nowhere else to post FDK." I mean, it made sense: if a fic is on FF.net or AO3, comment on the built-in thread, and if it's on the boards, comment here, and if it's on the Archive or some weird place like Joe's GeoCity or whatever, then you might need to make a new thread here. It just made sense, y'know? Well, long story short, I let Darth keep the New Thread award but docked one point; and I won't be using the achievement at all this next month. If anyone has better advice for how to make it work in the future, please let me know.
