I've rediscovered the fandom a couple of months ago and have been since browsing all the good old fics I read like 10-15 years ago. That was some trip the memory line! It's so glad they are still available! Thank you all for keeping the fandom alive! ♥️
There is one fic I cannot find though. I know I read it on an independent website, it wasn't on ff.net. and definitely not on ao3, since I haven't been a user of it 15 years ago. I'm sure it was some kind of L&C archive. But I've been browsing two of those recently and still cannot find that one fic.
Anyway, the fic is set in elsewhere type of universe, it's not the classic/canon elswhere story, just another, different AU. The story starts when Clark and Lois are teens and have a chance meeting/encounter when they get smashed and do the deed. I think Clark was on a field trip in Metropolis or something. It was a one night stand, they may not even have clear memories of it. And then they go separate ways. The story moves like 10-15 years forward. Lois is a single mother, struggling with her life. I dont remeber the sex if the child, sorry. Clark is with Lana and they're truing to get pregnant, but are unsuccessful which is a huge grievience for Clark, not sure aboit Lana though. I think it is known he has superpowrs, and I think they live in some kind of mansion/upper class place. Anyway, it must be known about the superpowers, because I remember that when Lois' child starts exhibiting them, she decides to go to him so he can help her child adapt. It's a shock to everyone that Lois has had Clark's child, because it's assumed he is not compatibile with earth's women in terms of reproduction. But turns out Lois has some kind of mutation/genetic deficiency or something, that would virtually make her sterile for human male but compatible for Kryptonian. The story is about them getting to know each other and falling in love.
So I hope someone can help me find it, it's been bugging the heck of me that I can't do so myself:)
