Hello, FoLCs, I would like to play a game...an FDK scavenger-hunt game, if you will. This month, the target is:
Find a fic in which Lois and/or Clark play(s) a game or sport of some kind.Please note that if you just do a search for keywords and come up with something barely related like "this is just a
game to you, isn't it?" you will be called to task and made to justify your entry.
Official Rules are as follows:1. Find a fic that fits the current theme (see above) and leave a comment on it.
2. Your FDK Post Must include a mention of this scavenger hunt, a genuine comment on the story (this is an FDK Challenge, after all), and a quote from the story which proves that it does fit the theme.
3. When you have made your post, report back here to let us know.
4. The fanfic can be from anywhere, as long as it's specifically L&CTNAOS. (See Scoring...)
5. Whether the fic is complete or not does not matter. WIPs welcome.
6. If the fic has multiple chapters, you only need to comment on one; preferably the most relevant one.
7. IF and ONLY IF there is nowhere to leave FDK, you may start a thread for it yourself.
8. You MAY NOT tag a fic once someone else has tagged it.
9. You MAY NOT tag your own fic. Leaving yourself FDK is just silly.
And a slight tweak from before....
10. Multiple entries will only be allowed after THREE entrants have reported in: This unlocks the free for all.
That's right, Folcs: Once 3 separate contestants have thrown their hats into the ring, you're free to enter as many fics as you like. Same rules apply for each, though: Leave an FDK post which contains a quote, a mention of the contest, and genuine comments. Once you're allowed more than one entry, they're going to be scrutinized a little tighter. If your entry is ruled invalid for any reason, you'll be given a chance to edit it; otherwise it won't count towards your score.
Speaking of scores...
SCORING:15 points for being the first one to report back here with a tagged fic.
10 points for being second.
5 points for being third.
1 point for each entry submitted thereafter
10 points for finding the oldest fic (final tally End of month)
5 points for finding the most recent fic (post date of most recent part posted by end of month)
5 points for finding a fic from a source outside of the mbs/nfic/archive
20 points for having the author reply to your comment
5 points for triggering new FDK posts from others on a comment thread whose last reply was older than one year. (these new posts must be also be posted by deadline for this achievement to count).
5 points for posting the first reply On A FDK Thread You Did Not Start (Must abide by the FDK rules above, cannot just be you yelling "FIRST!")
5 points for having your own fic tagged. (Only counts if you're, y'know, participating in the challenge.)
10 points for leaving a long FDK post with commentary having more than 3 quotes from the fic.
