Hey FoLCs,
since the Discord group gained us a few new FoLCs, most of which are more used to AO3 or Fanfiction.net, I thought it would be helpful to give a few hints.
Unfortunately, the boards don't offer the comfort of tags which you can filter for and find the story you like. But on the bright side, it offeres the comfort of willing FoLCs who can certainly give you recommendations for any type of fic you search. So don't be shy to ask! And don't be afraid of posting anything into the wrong folder. The worst that could happen might be one of the moderators moving your post to the right spot.
FoLCs here are a friendly, welcoming bunch, so don't worry.
So, where do you find what?
Lois and Clark Fanfic contains story threads and their FDK (Feedback/Commens) threads. You will find complete one-shots here or parts of longer stories as authors post them and here you can give your comments if you want to do so. Authors would very much appreciate it if you did, though. Stories posted here must have a rating of PG-13 or below, which would translate to General Audiences, Teen and Up Audiences and probably Mature as well since non-explicit descriptions of sexuality are okay as well. At the top of the page you'll find a link to the Fanfiction Index, which contains the complete lists of stories that were ever posted here, complete with links.
nFanfic Here's where you find the explicit stuff. You need to send a message stating that you're above 18 years old to one of the moderators to get access. At the top of the page you'll find the nfanfic Index, which contains a complete list of nfanfiction to explore.

Do you need recommendations? Here's the place to ask. Like I said, we don't have AO3s fancy tagging, but we do have the Hive Mind of FoLCs. Fanfic Archive Everyone here will be happy to give a recommendation and most likely there's someone around who remembers the name of a fic.
Next are the TOCs, each containing the links to One-shots and their respective Feedback Thread or all links of long stories with their multiple parts. Usually, they will be either marked as WIP (Work in Progress) or as complete.
