Here is an interlude chapter. Sadly, it is time to attend Uncle Zor-El's funeral on New Krypton.

As always, comments are welcome.

Thank you for an interesting and wonderful chapter! It was sweet of Kal to join Zara and Ching’s hands together. They deserve to be happy.

The ceremony honoring Zoe-El was touching. Alura’s words were wise and well chosen. She is smart. I hope Kal’s training goes well so he can defeat Nor and bring the changes to New Krypton that his uncle hoped to see.

I love this story and can’t wait for more! Thank you!

Knowing that they loved each other, yet were powerless to show affection without the risks of major complications. I thought allowing them to be together at Aboundar-El privately would be a good way to push the relationship along.

Alura is very smart! It's one of the reasons why Zor-El chose her as a bond mate. We shall see more on Kal-El's sword training soon. As for whom will rule New Krypton...

Thank you so much for these kind words. Your continuing to follow and most of all, comment is very encouraging to me! dance

Clark is really a member of that family now. It's great to see how he helps his aunt. But he also tries to make Zara and Ching finally see the light. Perhaps he's also trying to prepare his departure back to Earth. I hope we're going to see another message between Lois and Clark soon.

The callback to one of Clark's enemies was great. I had almost forgotten about the sword fight between Arc-Tal and Clark. Poor Clark is leading a dangerous life on New Krypton and I'm not sure he realizes how he's made more enemies than Nor.

Can't wait for Clark's preparations to fight Nor.

Kal-El or rather Clark is all about family. It is one of the reasons he went to NK in the first place. He wanted to see what is parents people were like. He also wants to see Zara and Ching happy. He and Zara had more of a brother and sister relationship than bond mates.

Arc-Tal is the worst kind of enemy; he hides in the shadows, calculating his next move. Yeah, Clark definitely has more enemies than Nor. help

See the next chapter regarding preparations against Nor.
