Breaking news on CNN and other sites says that Christopher Reeve died suddenly today at the age of 52.
He was not my favourite Clark Kent/Superman, but I had a huge amount of respect for him as an actor and as a campaigner. It's sad that he never got the chance to achieve his ambition and see a cure for paralysis.
Rest in peace, Christopher.
