I use a clock radio for my alarm clock and time it to go off as the news report begins. This was one of the first stories -- talk about waking up to a shock! I was so saddened by this ... he led such an amazing life, and was such an inspiration. He beat the odds over and over, and I couldn't help but hope he would continue to do so. He will be very missed.
