So, the virus was linked all the way back to Mindy, huh?

CLARK: And strangely, she fell off a building in Metropolis and died when I was helping with that earthquake in Southern California.

LOIS: Yes, too strange. /whistles innocently while looking at fingernails/

The Kent family & Lois ganging up at dinner was funny, and Clark trying his darnest not to give that 1% more that would push him from normal to super. lol He bought the ring after their second date? jawdrop That's someone who was VERY optimistic for his future. What if she'd dumped him after date 3?

Couldn't resist the last little Mayon Interruptus joke. At least Jimmy got a break from the role, right? wink

I thought it would be neat to tie it back into canon a bit, with the Mindy thing. Honestly, I wouldn't mind seeing Lois "accidently" seeing to Mindy's untimely demise.

I love being able to have Clark in that kind of "everyone's ganging up on me in a fun kind of joking way" situation. It's fun to have him toe the line of normal and super. Even if his line is a little further than yours and mine. wink

Clark: Gotta seize the moment when you see the perfect ring. Plus, yeah, I wasn't going to let go of the hope I'd get to use it.

Lois: I picked out a spot on my shelf for my Pulitzer before I even got taken on as a full time reporter...
